Read Carefully Before you apply for any program

The standard of Christian commitment maintained by Renaissance Bible College and Seminary (RBCS), requires a policy of selective admission. All applications are reviewed and evaluated in two areas.

  1. Character

Students must give an evidence through their written testimony of having held a genuine salvation experience. Applicants should have a sincere passion to study the scripture, to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and to prepare themselves to serve Him in the highest possible way.

Letters of recommendation are also required from the applicant’s pastor or any other person who can evaluate the applicant’s Christian experience, moral character and personal integrity.

  1. Academic Achievements

The applicants past educational records will be evaluated, along with RBCS entrance examination scores.

All Nigerian applicants must have successfully passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate exam (WAEC or its equivalent), and have at least one of the following:

  • Five passes at ‘O’ level and two passes at ‘A’ level.
  • A relevant diploma from a recognized institution.
  • A higher education certificate from a recognized institution
  • Be at least 20 years of age and have a 70% pass mark in the RBCS entrance examination.
  • International Students should equate their qualifications such that they meet one of the requirements Above.

Complete and submit the application form which can be obtained from the college or filled on the website (website link here). The completed application form should include copies of all required documents establishing your qualification.

Students who have submitted a satisfactory application and who have met the minimum academic requirements will be invited to sit for the RBCS entrance examination.

Prospective students who successfully pass the RBCS entrance examination will be called for a personal oral interview with the provost or other designated members of the faculty or administration before the final selection is made. At this time, all original documents must have been provided and verified.

After the candidate has been interviewed and all necessary records, transcripts and references have been received, a decision will be made regarding the application. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be further communicated to the applicant.
